We’re thrilled to announce the completion of a distribution center for Standard Process in Palmyra, Wisconsin. This project broke ground in July 2023, and our team worked with Excel Engineering for civil engineering to design and construct an impressive 60,000-square-foot facility. This new distribution center, strategically located across the street from Standard Process’s current plant, will house their finished goods, significantly enhancing their operational efficiency.
The project presented unique challenges, including the demolition of an existing building on the site. Rising to the occasion, we erected a striking 42-foot-tall structure featuring precast exterior wall panels. The interior boasts approximately 25,000 square feet of storage racking space, complemented by 4,000 square feet of office space.
Our Design-Build approach proved instrumental in the project’s success. We took charge of the fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, ensuring a seamless integration of all building components. This comprehensive approach allowed us to maintain strict quality control and adhere to the project timeline.
We’re particularly proud of how our team’s deep understanding of distribution center dynamics influenced the facility’s design and layout. By focusing on both operational efficiency and future scalability, we’ve created a space that not only meets Standard Process’s current needs but also positions them for future growth.
