Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services classifies a CBRF as “A place where five or more unrelated people live together in a community setting. Services provided include room and board, supervision, support services, and may include up to three hours of nursing care per week.” Director of Special Projects – Scott Nord was instrumental in the award bringing a wealth of knowledge from his time at Columbia St. Mary’s in Milwaukee. “We are very excited to be involved with such a well-respected, faith based local organization. Throughout the process Mark May and Dale Dahlke from Shorehaven have mirrored the kind professionalism, courtesy and values that we try to exhibit here at Oliver. Similarly, we’ve found Eric, Jason and the team at PRA live up to their reputation as some of the best in our industry. We’re looking forward to a great project outcome and a long-lasting partnership” said Mr. Nord. Construction on the 3rd floor is underway with 1st floor renovations expected to commence in March and complete Summer 2020.

Senior Project Architect – Erwin “Bud” Bessler recently completed design on the approximately 2,100sqft area located in the 6,125sqft existing clinic. Providers in the group were looking to modernize the finishes, improve functionality and flow within the space. Oliver will be improving restrooms, creating new exam room space and enhancing the receptionist/lobby area while employing value engineering to meet the owners budget requirements. Construction will be led by Special Projects Director – Scott Nord who also happens to be a resident of Watertown and a patient of the Family Practice. “We’ll be phasing construction to minimize disruption to Doctors, Nurses, Staff & Patients” said Nord. He added “It’s a privilege to be able to work with so many talented professionals in our community and even more so when those people are the caregivers our community looks to. Bud has come up with a thoughtful design and I’m confident our guys will deliver for the team at WFP. I’m too old to find another doctor so we don’t really have a choice!”

Oconomowoc, WI 07/03/2019 Oliver Construction continues its design and construction collaboration with the Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute as the Heichal HaTarbut Kaye (Kaye Cultural Center) is completed. The new 20,000 square foot building is large enough to accommodate everyone on campus simultaneously, allowing the entire camp to gather at one time for worship and performances, and also serves as a facility for year-round events and retreats. The building was designed to take advantage of the natural setting of the campus, bringing the outdoors in while still functioning as a dynamic space that can be divided into smaller rooms depending on what is ideal for the camp that day. The $4 million building also has a similar style to the surrounding buildings, creating a cohesive central campus.
