Oconomowoc, Wis. – Oliver Construction is pleased to announce the completion of a best-in-class greenhouse project for the Oconomowoc area non-profit, Zachariah’s Acres.
Discussions for the project began in 2019, with the non-profit seeking a facility that would allow the special needs children they serve, together with their families, to enjoy gardening year-round. Terry Bartowitz, President of Zachariah’s Acres, tasked Oliver Construction with the job of creating an innovative space that would serve their special guests long after his tenure with the organization was complete.
Construction on the 5,000 square foot facility began late summer 2020 and was completed at the end of October. The Oliver Team gave thoughtful consideration to the unique needs of the space’s end-user, creating a structure that was compliant with the latest ADA requirements without compromising design, comfort, or ease of use.
The ribbon cutting ceremony, which took place on November 11, 2020 was a culmination of over a year of planning. Oliver Construction is thrilled to have played a part in supporting the mission of Zachariah’s Acres and hopes that the facility will creating lasting memories for the guests who utilize it for years to come.
