We are excited to announce that we have recently broken ground on two new and exciting local projects right here in Wisconsin: Farmers & Merchants Bank in Lake Mills, WI, and Standard Process in Palmyra, WI.
Farmers & Merchants Bank:
The Farmers & Merchants Bank project is a design-build project that broke ground this past May. The bank, located in Lake Mills, WI, is designed to be more than just a financial institution; it’s a community hub.
The building is a wood-framed structure with steel supports at the tower area, accessorized with a decorative stone facade that complements the surrounding area. The bank’s floor area spans approximately 3,100 square feet, which includes a community room intended to serve as a meeting place for local groups and organizations.
In addition, 1,200 square feet is set aside for future tenant lease space, currently available for prospective occupants. We’re working diligently to ensure a smooth owner turnover by November 2023.

Standard Process:
Moving over to Palmyra, WI, we have the Standard Process project. This involves the demolition of an existing building on the site to make way for a new 60,000 square feet structure. The building’s exterior will boast precast wall panels, stretching up to a height of 42 feet.
The new Standard Process building broke ground in July 2023 and is set to serve as the client’s new distribution center. It will house roughly 25,000 square feet of storage racking space for their finished goods, relocating from their current plant located across the street. Additionally, the design includes 4,000 square feet of office space inside.
Our team at Oliver Construction is partnering with Excel Engineering, who is responsible for civil engineering. Together, we’re handling the fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical design/build. We aim for owner occupancy by March 2024 and full operation by Summer 2024.
