Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of project management experience within a general contracting environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in design-build delivery.
This role requires a driven, organized professional who can manage complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining strong relationships with clients, design partners, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Oversee design coordination, procurement, permitting, and field operations.
- Manage project budgets, contracts, and change orders to ensure financial success.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Supervise project teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all stages.
- Forecast project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience with a general contractor (design-build experience preferred but not required).
- Proven success managing multiple large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Strong technical understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
